{"id":7114,"date":"2024-12-18T09:32:13","date_gmt":"2024-12-18T08:32:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uewhg.eu\/?p=7114"},"modified":"2024-12-18T09:33:46","modified_gmt":"2024-12-18T08:33:46","slug":"militarmusikfestival-2024-grafenegg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uewhg.eu\/en\/2024\/12\/18\/militarmusikfestival-2024-grafenegg\/","title":{"rendered":"Military Music Festival 2024 in Grafenegg"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Austrian Armed Forces, the province of Lower Austria, \u2018Licht ins Dunkel\u2019 and ORF invited guests to the 2024 Military Music Festival in Grafenegg on 22 and 23 May in aid of \u2018Licht ins Dunkel\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the host, the Military Music of Lower Austria, military musicians from Vorarlberg, Salzburg, Upper Austria, Burgenland, Carinthia and the Guard Music from Vienna took part in this year&#8217;s event.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the musical performances by well-known composers, the highlight of this year&#8217;s Military Music Festival was the world premiere of the newly composed work \u2018Dream of an Austrian Reservist\u2019 by Carl Michael Ziehrer, in which the \u2018Reitende Artilleriedivision Nr.2\u2019 (RAD2) with its cannon was also in action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018The Great Austrian Tattoo\u2019 marked the end of the event.
